Wake me up before you leave
Wake me up so that I should believe
Wake me up for God's sake
Before you dare my heart break.

Let me unlearn the earlier lessons
The same blurred and ambiguous ones
The same that trapped me into the net
The same well explained but I could not get

Wake me up before the heart sinks
Allow me to know what the mind thinks
Allow me to refrain from treading a path
That leads to a conscientious wrath
So wake me up before you leave
Wake me up so that I perceive
What tranquilized my senses
And what impelled to commit offences
Let me wake up before I am doomed
Let me wake up if I am not well groomed.
