V-ictorious war against evil
A-llows you to be brave;
N-ever losing trust in God,
N-or letting you be satan's slave.
A-gainst evil war is victorious, because you fight to the end;
H-aving won over the enemy, the faith you truly defend.

C-ourageous war against evil
Z-ealously makes you strong;
A-llowing you to be firm,
R-elieving the sin or wrong.
R-igid war against evil won't cease until you succeed;
E-ven though others fail, victory is all you need.

C-omplete war against evil
A-llows you to be on guard;
R-eminding you that this fight
P-leases God though it's hard.
I-t's between good and bad, or true and false battle;
O-pen your eyes and be prepared for war against evil.
