War Is Too Much Poem by Dorsey Baker

When a girl or boy
goes off to war
its a sad time for family
knowing that war
is a very dangerous place to be

No one ever want to hear the word
or see the sight
hope there will come a time
when there will be
no more wars
that our children will have to fight
because in war
blood will be spilled
some will be hurt
and some will be killed

Its just a fact
some will come home
badly hurt
and some will never come back!
