War Justified: Collateral Damage Civilian Deaths Poem by Terence George Craddock

War Justified: Collateral Damage Civilian Deaths

Rating: 5.0

all war is criminally insane
all wars go civilian domestic
World War 2 killed more civilians
than volunteer or drafted soldiers

combatants were safer than civilians
statistically safer than fleeing civilians
allied fire burning Nazi cities was revenge
or justified regardless innocent civilians died

flash forward to new recent precision conflict zones
deliberate targeting resources electricity water supplies
policy an intensified suffering misery inflicted on civilians

way to demoralize invaded deny civilian support to invaded soldiers
a wedding party drone strike kill 100 guests kill happy innocent lives
kill maim mutilate women children justified collateral damage policies

Always civilians suffer in the wars the most and politicians don't suffer at all. Beautifully crafted.
