Watching Memories We Were Once A Part Of Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Watching Memories We Were Once A Part Of

Reaching out, wanting you to hold me, touching
only the empty atmosphere above.

Tears sparkling into the loneliness, spreading
from my heart and taking over my entire being.

Sitting alone, isolating, taking my mind into
interior realms, watching memories we were both
once a part of.

Now, just living in the abandonment of death's
nothingness alone.
