WORLD WATER DAY

Elexir of Life,
nothing else but, clean water
whose lack causes strife!
it is three fourths body matter
hence daily drink three four litres

should conserve water
by rainwater harvesting;
no laughing matter,
lot goes down the drain, wasting;
while its shortage, leads to Worldwide pangs .

crop patterns need change;
sugarcane, rice drink too much;
no sugar might estrange
friends, but is good for health as such;
once in a way, okay to indulge.

for birds, animals,
spare a thought; during famines,
by God they get culled;
this disaster is not fine,
as our survival is on line!
