We Are Not Alone Poem by Abby Sze

We Are Not Alone

Rating: 5.0

Singing, a song of loneliness
Enchanting:
From a beat to a pitch
To rhyme Shall never be reached.

Humming, the story of the world
Softly:
From a city to a village
To highest mountain Shall never be climbed.

Following, the miggration of birds
Closely:
From summer to winter
To spring that Shall never bring coolness of autumn.

Observing, the change of cloud
Focus:
from thick fog to a waterdrop
To the storm that rain Shall never stop.

I am
sailing, with a heart made of ocean,
But still beating:
Beating in resonance with mother nature:
The organic and inorganic,
The cruelty of survival for fittest and
The sympathy of helping each other.

I am sitting under starry sky,
Singing a song of loneliness
At a tiny corner of the universe.
