We Get A War That We Just Don't Want Poem by Dorsey Baker

We Get A War That We Just Don't Want

Big dark troubled skies
An old man that is stumbling
Around on a stick
A baby that cries
We get a war that we just
Don't want
When all we want
Is peace!

Heavy bombs hit hard
Big tall buildings
Crumble down to the ground
We get a war
That we just
Don't want
When all we want
Is peace!

War is brutal peace is fragile
There is no denying so many
Salty tears people of the world
We are crying!
We get a war that we
Just don't want
When all we really want
Is peace!
