Knowing that I'll never see you,
Living through this loneliness,
Memories forever take me to you,
Thankful I was truly blessed,
To live a life with someone special,
Reminders with me every day,
For thoughts of you are never fading,
They brighten up each cloudy day.
Nature is my one true friend now,
Soothes my heart,
Reminds me so,
Of precious days we walked together,
When butterflies danced to and fro.
Life has meaning,
When it's shared with,
Loving souls with tender hearts,
Missing you today and always,
Death must come,
We have to part.
