We Are Poets
We are poets young and old,
Writing down our inner thoughts,
Is our daily goal.
We are poets in our own special way,
Clearing our minds of our feelings,
Expressing our thoughts of the day.
We are poets happy or sad,
Thinking of what to write about,
Be it good or bad.
We are poets true to form,
It's instilled in our minds,
As we open our eyes,
From the very first day we are born.
