'' We'll All Be As One '' Poem by Bri Mar

'' We'll All Be As One ''

Rating: 5.0

At this time of year,
I will shed a tear,
Christmas brings memories I treasure,
Nothing can make them disappear,
Looking back really gives me such pleasure.

I talk out loud,
Tell them I'm proud,
Of everything they have achieved,
I'm surrounded by a very large crowd,
That makes me feel so relieved.

They're brought up to date,
They tell me it's great,
But too soon to be re-united,
Sometimes their messages I cannot collate,
Perhaps it's me who's short sighted.

They ask how we are,
Now that they've travelled far,
They're still with us, but not in plain sight,
I ask them if I could get there by car,
Their reply is, you will see the light?

In Deep conversation,
It's complete captivation,
Their stories bring me to my senses,
They fill me up with such contemplation,
I immediately drop my defences.

Worry no more,
It's too much of a chore,
Living was made to enjoy,
Don't dwell too much on what's went before,
Let nothing or no-one annoy.

Though it seems we may hide,
We are right by your side,
We remain with you, twenty-four seven,
The distance between us is close not wide,
As the Earth is next door to Heaven.

As I leave their grave,
They tell me to be brave,
I thank them for all they have done.
Though their presence now is what I crave,
In the future,

‘' We'll All Be As One ‘'
