We Used To Poem by Deluke Muwanigwa

We Used To

Rating: 5.0

You used to rest your head on my chest
Now we are separated by oceans
I sang you lullabies with poems and prose
Now it's all gone like the wind

Now we are separated by oceans
How do i inject our love with hope
Now it's all gone like the wind
I am finding it hard to accept the end

How do i inject our love with hope
I sang you lullabies with poems and prose
I am finding it hard to accept the end
You used to rest your head on my chest.

We use to be together like petal and perfume Withstand all under the hot sun And then came time to either You flew in air like dry petals And I accompany you always Leaving deep imprints behind. Good poetry.
