Weep For Nature - Poem by Della Perry

Weep for the plants
that grow in awkward places
Weep for the so-called weeds
Who just attempt to survive beneath concrete slabs
Between crevices in rocks and stone
Who attempt to regain their lost lands.
Weep for nature
Weep for the creatures that eat those plants
Weep for the homo sapiens
Who breed
Weep for the human weed
Who grow in awkward places.

That's a LOT OF WEEPING! ! ! i'd have to do some serious hydrating of my body following all that!

well, seriously, there are certainly parallels between plants and people!

shall we NOT weep for those Homo sapiens who do NOT breed? breed H.s. or breed plants? ?

let me put this into the section B of November's showcase for other Readers to ponder.
