Hunger For Knowledge
Hungry all the time
Starving, ravenous,
Unrelenting hunger pains me.
Needing knowledge, release,
Continuous waiting for more.
Can't cease this, it grumbles
and rumbles for more.
Can't relax, can't sleep,
Hungry all the time
Repeat.

ok, the 'hunger for knowledge' grumbles and even rumbles? ! ! ! yikes! Poor? woman you are. but what about me? ! i got to the end and found " Repeat" staring at me. So i repeated, but... Each time i read the last line, i found myself having to " repeat" the reading again, over & over again...till i ended up in the hospital (psych ward) . I just got out yesterday. This time i did NOT read the last line. to MyPoemList. bri ;)
Hunger for knowledge should be insatiable. You are lucky to have that hunger. Thanks for sharing such a sweet poem.
