Wet Eyelids Poem by Manonton Dalan

Wet Eyelids

she was past asleep in couch
too weak to go to bed tonight
i watch her with heavy heart
why? she's too young for this
what have nature done; curse
in my temple came can't reverse

pray i must to calm, calm my soul
hope is there even sadness rule
when sun rise slowly to remind us
i hold my head, thanks heaven well
i am still around with open arms
with love, take her away from harm
