What Cleansing Power

What cleansing power of Jesus blood
That washes sins away
And through His Spirit makes it known
Praise God we have been saved
And the essence of forgiveness
Permeates our heart
With a joy we've never known before
O God how great Thou art

Now our Father... You've become
Through faith in Christ the Son
And we have fellowship divine
That was hitherto unknown
And we know in whom we've believed
Has become our Shepherd sure
And will never leave or forsake us
While on our journey here

Each day has a fresh wonderment
In knowing Thou art mine
And I'm still enthralled by Your Word
That stands the test of time
And as You Lord changeth not
Your Word is just the same
My hallelujah is in You my Saviour
O praise Your precious name
