What Does ‘orang-Utan’ Mean? Poem by Konstantin Ananin

What Does ‘orang-Utan’ Mean?

- What does ‘orang-utan’ mean?
- It means ‘forest man’. But
- Why do people call it so? Tell me.
- In trees this ape builds huts.
An ape built that hut the other day.
- Can we see them through the leaves there?
- No, they’re certainly away,
They sleep only once in their huts everywhere
And never go to sleep till
Their new huts are built.
