What Happened Then - Poem by Manonton Dalan

slow steps braving breeze
below comfortable degrees
so quiet; steaming mouth
close fist swinging to
cadence of muted sound
plug to ears; focus on some

rippling channel seawater
gently kissing quay planks
robotic arm sensing deep
a swimmer or any fish lost
they're watching every move
they even look inside your hood
