Something I got
Something I lost
Secretly I cried a lot
Thinking about what I had lost.
Today I am silent
Pondering about
What I have lost
Really had I got!
this poem is simple but very near to the heart of every man and woman, simple but philosophically meaningful...i like the poem.
I can relate to this one. In the past 4 months I hve lost my Mother to illnes and Fiencee to what ever made her do it. I gave up every thing in louisianna to be with my Mother her last while on Earth. That I left is gone. Thought my Fiencee was loves light and I was but a shadow. I guess I have lost the light of love or have I gained a better understanding of it? Your poem hit home in me. I like this one.
Oh dont cry for lost things, we may mourning for it..but we may neglect what we still have and soon we will cry lot more because that things we will also lost too...if we not take care what we have, we cant get what we cant have but we can find what we lost, could be not yours anymore but you will feel better if you find it back...remember when we have something be thankful my dear Wahab, we will know how precious it is when we lost it...dont cry for what you lost too long care what you have now...no more tears for tomorrow...and tomorrow? it start from today_Unwritten Soul
A daily Allegory of the mental conflict troubling every common mind...i agree with salema khatun's interpretation of the lines...a little different style, but almost the same topic we find in ONE ART by elizabeth bishop...
