What Have You Missed? Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

What Have You Missed?

Rating: 4.0

Sounds unheard
Sights unseen
Unconsciously absurd
Overlooking the green

In a rush
Going to extreme
Rewards are flushed
Evaporating dreams

Life reversed
Back to infancy
With a dry thirst
Searching for cogency

This is a very thoughtful piece giving us the promise of something to look forward too in the sense that events might help us recall some of the past. Although, regrets usually surface first, there are other more pleasant things that pop up and are worth remembering and even writing about. We need to keep searching the oysters for those hidden gems. Theresa, your poems always have a gem to be discovered and cherished.
