What If Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

What If

Rating: 5.0

What if I am like a drop in the ocean
My existence is very insignificant
What if I am a letter in a prayer to Him
They call me often when they chant

What if I am little star in the galaxy
My being there makes no sense
What if I cease to rise tomorrow again
Will the universe stop its dance

What if I am like a grain of sand
In a beach lying unnoticed, unknown
What if a gale storm hits the land
Who cares if am get lifted and blown

What if I am an insignificant soul
Wandering around with a new attire
What if I will be gone someday
Will there be someone who will care

A beautiful spiritual poem nicely executed. The poem is running through 'what if I am.....' which is most charming and is answer itself. Thanks for snaring.10
