What Is Death? Poem by Elizabeth Middleton

What Is Death?

Rating: 5.0

ANOTHER STEP:
-How do we view birth?
As the beginning
-What is school like?
A public prison for everyone
A field of creativity and learning
-What does graduation mean?
Freedom
-How about a job?
Money
Making a dream(s) come true
-How does marriage strike you?
Love
Commitment
Slavery
-What are your plans on children?
Twenty
Zero
Two
-What does getting old mean?
Saggy
Wrinkles
Grumpy
Experienced/ Seasoned citizens
-So, How do we view death?

How can we view death. Death is something we cant really expirience due to dieing you cant run back to your friends and say 'Hey I know what death is! ' It doesnt work like that....Maybe we are all, all ready dead in a sense? Death is hard to nail but i like the way you used it in this poem.

Nice, Liz. Death is such a hard topic to nail, but nail it you did. I loved the ending, and you should definitely be proud of this. Amazing poem!

I guess you can't view death it's one of those things, no-one knows where they are going intil they actually get there! ! ! Heavern of Hell (well that's my opinion because I'm a Catholic) ! ! Thank you 4 that xx

Many view death as an unpleasant afair that will happen no matter what. I see it like you do. As a new step in life. A new chapter in our book. An opening door to what awaits in the next life if that is so. Lovely poem. Britney
