What Will I Do? Poem by Ellen Ni Bheachain

What Will I Do?

What will I do,
If it does not give a clue?
Or a message for others to know?
In my narrative poems,
A story or Prose,
From the beginning of 1st,
Is the basic of,
My pretty long poems,

So, I write this down now,
And let you members know now,
I am not like most of you,
That write like ancient Gods,
Or spiritual interventions,
Or Lords and Ladies,
Where poetry runs through your scenic lands,

And for those that await,
For the rest to rescue,
With their words,
That will melt you away,
With poetic flow,
Well,
I'm not waiting,
To become like so,
And never will,
Yet, enjoy reading such poetic writings,

I come from working class,
With street wise and mad marches,
Where you have to make,
The best of mutton and not steak,
So,
The lingering of words,
Where I come from,
In urban Dublin Ireland,
Is for saying it straight,
Without any bait,
Or.
An introduction like this,
To bring it onto a picture of me and who I am,

So,
With this poem,
It would be more,
Just like the written words,
All about,
Me,
Another long story,
From,
Another.
Long poem,

Each poem start a story,
That one day I will write about,
Someone and something,
A person and place,
Something I touched upon,
Or someone that holds a place,
Within me and my ways,
That one day I will write,
And clarify in more ways.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I really enjoy reading on Poemhunter. Most of my poems are narrative and all prompt me to write further on them in a short story which I will do but could not have put that into perspective without the platform Poemhunter gives.E-NíB.
