You Are A Star

Poem by Ellen Ni Bheachain

Live your life happy and free,
Believe in yourself,
And follow your dreams,
Like a Planetary nebula you remained in your shell,
And as you developed to a Protostar you remained unseen,

As time went on,
You bloomed and grew,
With talent so bright and so full of energy,
You shone so bright,
And a star was born,

So, shine bright and illuminate,
Like a star shinning bright,
Let your talents be seen,
So, your inner beauty and outer beauty become one,

Remember though,
As you grow in stardom and shine,
May you grow bigger and bigger,
To giant stardom,
Enjoy it, Live it,
You are a Star,
Become that Giant Star,
But not the Super-giant Star,
For they live fast and die young,
Creating a Supernova,
Ending up a Neutron Star,
Where fame and stardom just fades away,

So, shine bright,
Enjoy your fame,
Let your stardom last,
And don't let it fade away,

For like snowflakes,
No two stars are the same,
So how you burn your energy,
Is up to you and how you shine,
Shine on,
Shine bright,
Live long.

Poet's Notes about The Poem

Fame can send people on a reckless road where they burn out so young and fame like a star they stop shinning and fade away.Be that star that shines on.E-NíB.
