That's all there is in the news
Virology
Epidemiology
Urology
As Dambudzo Marechera would say
"And many other silly-ologies'
What's in the news again tonight
Human trafficking for modern slavery
No stories about human bravery
Success all but measured in deceit and treachery
The corrupt erupt daily
City streets flood with human effluent
Hospitals are but slaughterhouses
The bravery of the honest but hushed
What is in the news gain tonight?
We not gonna hope in hell, so they say
Fun spitting gun barrels
Nature writhing in pain and rage
All fighting for freedom from common decency, so it appears
And again, tell me what's in the news tonight?
