When? - Poem by Kereema McDonald

When will I stop thinking of you?
When will my heart stop aching?
When will I no longer yearn for your touch, your kiss, and the way you use to put down on me having me cry for more?
When will I stop waiting for the phone to ring so I can hear you say baby “I miss you and I want to be with you”?
When will I stop seeing you in the crowded streets?
When will I get thoughts of you, thoughts of her, thoughts of us out of my head?
When will I stop blaming myself for you leaving?
When will I stop loving you?
