When Chameleons Run. Poem by Sandra Feldman

When Chameleons Run.

Rating: 5.0

Most so called
'Leaders'
Are Chameleons,
Clever insects,
Among millions,
The Chameleon
Does not need
A tree in which
To hide,
All it has to do
Is change,
The color
Of its hide,
And blend in
To whatever,
The surroundings
Are,
To win votes
Without,
No one ever
Knowing,
' Who you
Really are.'

A brilliant depiction on how some politicians win votes of the populace. Our votes are sacred and our future is at stake on the hands of those who will govern the country. We must be vigilant to whom we put our trust..
