When Darkness, Shatters. Poem by Sandra Feldman

When Darkness, Shatters.

Rating: 5.0

Can't tell one lie
From another,
Our brains given,
Animal fodder,
To ruminate,
Upon,
As all logic
And Truth
Are shattered
As if we were
Cattle,
Ready to drop
All rights,
While truth and
Intelligence,
Seem no longer
To matter.

An utter chaos is well painted on the canvas of this powerful and well expressed poem. So deeply poignant that we never know if there is still future for next generations. I hope and pray we could overcome this darkness.
