When Frozen Thoughts Melt..... Poem by Pranayee Rachamalla

When frozen thoughts melt,
and come out as tears
When affection becomes precipitate
because of bond with friends for years.
Perhaps this anti bondings makes us strangers,
like a very cruel repulsion
may be for months or may be for years,
never we can imagine this departure again
Hours a day we stay together
like birds of same feather,
that flock together,
as if we are the only friends here
Recollecting the memories of the first day
entering the college with a daze
But soon passes away each and every day
resulting in this emotional moment with a pink face.
Missing the joys, missing the memories,
missing all the exams, programmes and fun,
memorizing the games we played and noisy classes
missing each and everyone and the things we have done.
Almost a day we stay together
but just for a reason called life and career
we got ready for this departure
with a hope that we'll meet again in future.
