When I Die... - Poem by Joshua Fegley

When I die...
let my body burn.
Deposit my ashes,
inside my sepulchral urn.

Taken to the riparian of forlorn;
on the littorals so adorn.
As the wind will turn,
open my urn.

Let me be,
and set me free.
Let me fly,
when I die...

    When I die I'd like to live your poem Joshua, achieve peace and freedom that life could not provide

    not bad but i'm not sure about some of the words like sepulchral urn, it kind of sounds a bit dated but nevertheless it's alright. (Report)Reply

    That was really good.

    .: : .Death drives people
    To do the impossible
    To talk to those
    Who can’t respond
    To cry over one
    Who cannot comfort
    To leave behind
    The life they knew.: : .
