Those wonderful flavours,
I fondly recall,
From the old corner shop,
I remember them all,
Traffic light lollies,
That lasted so long,
Gobstoppers,
Chocolate,
The list goes on,
Shelves full of jars,
Of our favourite things,
Memories, of those sweet tastes that life brings.
If we had sixpence,
We thought we were rich,
Money in hand,
We'd take our pick,
Of the wonderful sweets,
Our childhood days,
Were filled with delight,
In its own sweet way.
