When Nobody Allowed Poem by Manonton Dalan

When Nobody Allowed

I lay naked for darkness to see
lightning paints blinds on walls
reflections comes to me fierce
i have to close my eyelids hard
crack on window lets cold air
touching me; i made a whimper

To tired to even reach for cover
i can hear shingle beating gutter
a faint knock i pretend nothing
steps walking away from my door
they sure leave me alone. maybe
i am waiting for sleep to take me
