When The Time Was Good Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

When The Time Was Good

Where that love has gone
Between the bees and flowers
Why birds have forgotten to
Play and plunge down into running rivers

Where is the sound of bell
That chimes peace in the dales
Why butterflies do not fly to
The swaying buds leaving curvy trails

Why silence rules thick
Across the lands, skies and lakes
Why the wind from foliage
Losses sweet fragrance along its tracks

Walking down the path
To graves in the early morn
Wish when the time was good
Leaving body the soul should have gone
