When Time Stood Still Poem by Mario, Lucien, Rene Odekerken

When Time Stood Still

Rating: 5.0

The wind moved, yet I felt nothing.
Voices carried through the air, distant,
like echoes from another world.

Your hand hovered near mine,
not touching, not retreating,
just waiting in the space between.

A breath caught,
a moment stretched thin,
suspended in something nameless.

The clocks did not notice,
but I did.
In that quiet pause,
nothing rushed forward,
nothing slipped away.

Only the now remained.
