Whenever I miss my mother
All I have to do
Is look in the mirror
And I can see
The smile and glint in her eyes
That give love, warmth and care
And I say to myself
"Yes, everything will be alright.'"

Sometimes we desperately miss our parents. When we visualize their smiling reassuring faces, we get a new confidence and our mind will be filled with new hope. We hear them whisper that everything will be alright and those words of calm assurance will drive away all our anxiety and doubt! Simple and sweet!
A very touching poem that beats straight the cores of my inside, I got teary eyes while reading, since the subject is a true fact reminding the own self. My huge admiration goes to this poem and the great poetess behind, for her great love tribute for her beloved Mother. This is a very honest poem, when we are not sure of ourselves at times, we just needed this gesture of love, warmth and care. WOW! Most beautifully said. A 10+++++++++++++
Yes, there is no better reassuring refuge than mother. All one has to do is to close the eyes and she is there. Lovely write.
Memories! ! Mother's love, Looking into the mirror. Thanks for sharing this poem with us.
I'm almost in tears reading this, It reaches me because I am very close with my mother, and family so I feel these words very deeply. Its a work that's not just touching but moves of filial pathos, its only extended by the closing lines. I not only think this is top marks, but its going to my favorites, I need this from time to time. A truly wonderful work of art Rose Marie, I'm so glad you have shared.
This is a very impressive poem, most touching, dear Mrs. Juan-Austin. The undertones are the strongest. Sublimest worded. Such a greatest pleasure to read this time and again. Thank you so much for sharing this excellent poem.
