Our chance for heaven is here on earth,
While breath gives life to goodness.
While hearts still beat as love goes forth
And those we meet feel our kindness.
Our search for peace is found on earth,
If our short life births hope and light.
When words we speak sow care and comfort
To those in pain, who've lost their fight.
For heaven's place is not far in space
With gates of stars and streets of gold,
We enter not by good deeds but by grace
For God's mercy is ours to have and to hold.
On earth there is time enough to decide,
After death the chance is all but forfeited.
For heaven is truly in our hearts inside
Where the Prince of Peace is enthroned and seated.
Impressive crafting, Cynthia...empowering close-out...Enjoyed this! ~FjR~
