Where Nowi Am I
I am helpless, dejected -
So restless am I,
I fail to find myself -
Where now am I.
The love with my beloved what I have lost
I fail to get it back again - at any cost.
I can’t go back to my good old days,
filled with fun and with -full of grace.
Neither can I enjoy the love –
That parted me from my life.
Selfish thoughts still remain
With lots of hungers and desires,
Good deeds can not be done so far,
Many a barrier hinder often.
Poor I am with mortal life -
Approaching the end by every stride.
I don’t know where and how -
The end is waiting for the final strike.
The mind is rushed with –
Questions umpteen,
Doesn’t find any -
Answer concrete.
I am helpless, dejected -
So restless am I,
I fail to find myself -
Where now am I.

When we lose the one we love we cannot find ourself. Nothing seems right - nothing fits anymore. All thoughts and desires are still present for our love, but where now am I? Very intense poem, can feel your pain, it has touched me seriously. RoseAnn
