Where-You-Going>>> Poem by Manonton Dalan

Where-You-Going>>>

so many arm guards
anywhere i wander
are we safe; maybe
i was driving by
looking for better
parking then suddenly
security car following
left when i fall over

before i get to jobsite
they check my two ID
three times and search
i only make peanuts
whie delivery trucks
has long lines coming
airports they swarm
looking on everything
you carry, asking questions
to determine your accent

are they making us safe
overblown thriving business
i feel un-easy they're
very keen on me; until i speak
then i am just like you
harmless working taxpayer
