Which One Has Tolerated The Other The Most - Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar
If anyone has stated to another,
How close they've been to someone else...
For more than over fourty years?
And with an interest has expressed it,
I would be suspicious if...
That person had never step inside,
The home where that person lives.
Met the parents or visited the city or state...
Or investigated with imagination those experiences,
That has made that person someone claimed to appreciate.
I would be highly suspicious just how close that association is!
And which one has tolerated the other the most.
