Whistle In The Wind Poem by David Harris

Whistle In The Wind

There are days when the world
just seems to get you down.
Everywhere someone is moaning
and on television, the news is bleak.
You close your ears in hope
to restore some peace into your life
and get away from the rat race
that seemingly follows you around.
My advice is to stop for a moment
and just step outside
and start whistling in the wind.
Whistle a happy tune to chase the blues away.
Whistle in the wind's cool breeze
as it revitalizes your senses.
Slowly you will feel better,
refreshed and clear of mind
ready to take on the onslaught
of the world for a small while
you left far behind.
