@Leslie Philibert: i think it's the importance of the poet figure & his conception that made you able to use hyperbole otherwise it's clear who came or rather existed first, and you know it too; yes, it has been the manner of transcendentalists to praise the Creator by simply giving a high-praise to the beings created by Him.
