Amidst my world of queries amassed,
'Who gave me sisters? ' a tale unsurpassed.
Through trials and triumphs, they stayed steadfast,
A bond unbroken, destined to last.
When I was rude or lost my track,
Their discipline swift, no room to slack.
A clip around the earhole or a friendly whack,
Reminders they gave, never to lack.
In the throes of youth, hormones ablaze,
Chasing women in a bewildering maze.
Yet sisters stood by, guiding my ways,
With heartfelt advice through turbulent days.
In future years, weddings and more,
They'll stand by me, just as before.
'He's a braw wee brither, yea ken, ' they'll roar,
Sharing my joy, forevermore.
Blowing their noses, huddled in tight,
Perhaps to catch those roses now in flight.
Through thick and thin, they've been my light,
Guiding me through the darkest of night.
Sisters, though miles may keep us apart,
In spirit, we're linked, heart to heart.
Distance, you see, holds no sway, nor does it thwart,
For you, my dear sisters, I impart:
I love you, dear sisters, with all my heart,
In every moment, you play a part.
Thank you for being there, right from the start,
Forever cherished, never to depart.

My sister had made a number of sacrifices that have truly enriched my life. For that, I will remain eternally grateful! Wonderful tribute to sisters, Mervyn!
