He was a stranger to me, whom do I tell
He left me a prize, whom do I tell
She lowered her gaze and asked: darling
Would you like a drink? whom do I tell
My lover is indifferent to me and
I feel like I am dying, whom do I tell
The beautiful night suddenly cried and I asked
What happened in the evening? whom do I tell
The earth shook yesterday and 'Lalit' felt
He was near death, whom do I tell

दे गया ईंनाम क्या? किससे कहें
वो पलक नीचे झुका बोले- पिया
फिर पियोगे जाम क्या? किससे कहें
रूठ कर रहता अलग मुझसे सनम
तब न जाती जान क्या? किससे कहें
ये सुहानी रात बरबस रो पड़ी
