Why Do We Fumble? Poem by Kumarmani Mahakul

Why Do We Fumble?

Rating: 5.0

Knowledge is the light knowledge is the might,
While we fumble knowledge we don't fight.
Some fumble in darkness is like just ignorance,
It is not so right way but they loss their chance. [1]

Oh dear people, please tell why do we fumble?
We do search more and keep things in jumble.
We stand up; we sit down and also do tumble,
Without getting anything suddenly we stumble. [2]

We do tremble in fear sometimes in jerk,
In happiness we wander in pressure we work.
While a person fumbles some say him berk,
While he delights in knowledge he stays in perk. [3]

Inside matters some fumble for money and wealth,
However they do forget about mind and health.
Those are wise fumble inside values and purity,
Superiors to them search God to unite in surety. [4]

We are souls conscious we are ever eternal,
We forget our qualities and wander in external.
Our vision should be fixed surely for divine light,
To fumble God at all times is our true birth right. [5]

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Many times we keep our used things unmindfully somewhere and at the time of need we fumble hither and thither. We search and search and get after a long time. Why is it? Why do we fumble? It is so because we are so busy in earning material things like wealth, money etc. which serve our bodies only, not for souls. If we have meditation and have connection with Supreme God, then we will be conscious minded and will not humble perishable things. Our mind will not be absent. In this regard this poem is written. Knowledge is powerful and it makes right path to go on and avoids ignorance, fight, fatigue etc. People having ignorance lose their chances to earn eternal things. In order to fumble things we sometimes jumble, stumble and can't get peace. Now a day the looks of the people are such that if a person humble for virtue things, they call him a berk or stupid one. We should grope values and purity. We should always remember that we are souls and our visions should be fixed for divine light and to fumble God which is our birth right. This poem is written in Doegarh, Odisha, India on this day of September 15th,2014 and is dedicated to the people of the world.

A very clear rhythm throughout your poem, gives it an underlying feeling of agitation at the ignorance of people. They fumble their lives, searching for wealth, money, material things when they should be humbly gathering the virtues of this life. This poem has a spirituality all it's own, blended finely with your knowledge of the divine. A great poem Kumarmani, love it. Thank you for sharing it and also for reading and comment on my poem: Desirable Effects. RoseAnn
