Why Does He Wage Wars

by Freeyad Ibrahim

A leader who has suffered a lot
in his childhood
Tends to wage wars
everywhere louds alarm.
As if to revenge himself
Against his society
which has done him nothing
but harm.

Seeing happy prosperous children,
reminds him of his miserable childhood.
Seeing their fathers alive
reminds him of his orphanage.
The citizens' specious mansions
reminds him of his dirty dark hut.
so he carries hatred against every life.

He is afflicted by Deprivation Complex,
inferiority and hatred,
Evil overpowers good.
He longs for the suffering of children
sends their fathers to the battle front.
their deadly fate is then reassured.

He cheers his victory
Over the innocents
Over the happy children
Over the parents
Over his psychological complexes
Enjoys the Compensation
for his inferiority complex.

rejoyces to see the devestated site
how he has turned the day into night!
Pray never a complicated man
become a ruler
Or possess the mightiest might!
