Why The Jazz Horn Blows Poem by Kewayne Wadley

Why The Jazz Horn Blows

I one day dreamed to take you to
places distant and far
and share with you the desires
thats escaped deeper into the
atmosphere of a world we both
dreamed
centric were the desires I seldomly
dreamt alone
I one day dreamed to taste your lips
under the Paris moon and again
under the stars of Rome
to divide and conquer our fears
as desire turns to undying bliss
found within you and I
I one day dreamed to see your
feet kissed against the sands
of the world as I've found
peace layed together
your hand in mine exploring
the senualness thats erupted
into euphoria
the clouds of smoke that
escapes your mouth
the splashes of Gin
that fills your glass
as the horn contunues to sound
I realized that
I woke up from that
dream a long time ago
