Wind in April
Wind has just put light sandals on
roaming over grass to drink the dew;
It drinks the dew, keeps kissing upon
Oh buds do bloom fragrance comes through.
And wind has got soft fingertips,
that slide so swiftly under a gown.
Girls are so crazy, the hoyden nymphs
At nights can hardly close their eyes down.
Playing like hoyden upon my hoars
and wind's thin fingers give me caresses.
O God, I foolishly ran outdoors
wooing in craze gowns and dresses.
On lighter sandals wind blows away
Just as it knows bursts off in strife;
Innocent or guilty enteringhideaways,
of sleeping soil gives birth to life.

original version
Era e prillit
Era ka veshur sandale të lehta,
harbon përmbi bar e pi vesë;
pi vesë e burbuqet me puthje të nxehta
i çel e aromat u ndez.
Era ka gishta me mollza të buta;
I shket nën fustanet e lehtë.
harbon siç di ajo vetë;
me faj a pafaj hyn skutash të fshehta,
nga dheu i fjetur zgjon jetë.
