Wine And Poetry
Do wine and poetry mix well, I'm not sure
If the words that fall onto the page are pure
Free from your soul without inhibition
Sacrificing all your known intuition
You put down those words at such a pace
And wake in the morning to a red face
It is a good combination, it releases the soul, clears emotions. The poem can remain in the scrapbook. It does not have to be published.
