Winneba Road Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Winneba Road

Bap, cap!
At Winneba oad in the Central Region of Ghana;
Own, clown!
Of a valley in red;
But, with the golden entrance.
Car, carouse!
Of the grand entrance in the land of your muse;
Card, cardboard!
At Winneba Road in the Central Region of Ghana;
Board, cardboard!
With the rivers of love.
The attributes of gold!
The attributes of love;
Middle, twiddle!
47 years after.
Switch, twitch!
But, the wounds have not been healed because,
The scars still remain.
