Winter Sorrow Poem by Ronni ManoaHofbauer

Winter Sorrow

Rating: 5.0

Frosty whispers stir
From slumber, I arise
Melancholy's song

Solitude engulfs
Chill seeps into bone
Light's absence aches

Shadows lengthen, creep
As winter's grip tightens
Fate's path unclear

T is all the more interesting (and of course intriguing) that the audio of a different poem of the same caption plays when I open this page…

It is another matter of intrigue that while we in the North of the equator are scorched by arid summer, you in the South are chilled and freeze in winter.I hope you are now in the midst of a beautiful spring

A deep melancholy song. I too dread winter, but for another reason. You may read it in my poem "A winter in Delhi"

Well conceived and elegantly brought forth with insight. A beautiful creation. Thanks for sharing Ronni.
